Yes.
Unfortunately for you, most of the kids at your college probably only know about 2 or 3 off that list. Good luck.

This is true, but I'm hoping for the best, especially since I put the majority in the university music building.

We'll see though.

This would only catch one person's attention?
My vision is doomed....

It's too scattered. Why not just say, "Hi! I like quirky music, do you? If so, let us make band!"

Yes. Simple is always better. It just looks like you're namedropping, and doing too much of it. It should just say "Violinist looking for like-minded musicians" and then the last line with your number, with maybe a line or two about what you're looking for. Once you get in touch with them, then you can give them the pertinent details.

I actually agree with this.

The flyer is good and it would definitely catch my interest, but you'll have an easier time going with Bunny's sugestion. If you're looking for perfect but not easy, I suppose your flier works just fine.

I totally would with this guy. His taste in music is amazing.

Maybe condense it into a few genres, with a couple of examples for each one? I doubt most people will have any idea who any of these artists are, maybe including genres would help.
