My Birthday...
 

I'm turning 24 on next Saturday (September 24th) and was hoping you all would have ideas as to what I should do for my birthday.

I had been thinking that I should drink one beer / hour, culminating in 24 beers...because, I mean, there's 24 hours in a day, and you only turn 24 once...

But I really tried to get some dank wine - and that's appearing to not come through because said wine is from Walla Walla, WA...and I can't get it for a reasonable price right now...so the one drink / hour seemed reasonable.

Then again, my birthday is on a weekend. There are over 30 bars and clubs within half an hour of me. I just...

Will one an hour get you intoxicated at any point, what with the burnoff rate, and presumably a seasoned drinker?

One beer an hour for 24 hours is a great idea in theory, but you are likely to fail.

If you're going to fail anyway, then there is another great sounding idea that I myself have attempted. That, my friend, is the pub A-Z crawl. If you can complete that then you're a better drinker than I am.

Or hit a pub for every year you've been alive. Slightly less agonizing.

Ahh. No, just a pint in one of each. That's impossible enough as it is. Trust me, I've tried it.

Newcastle is full of pubs. We had our A-Z drawn up, minus X and Z I think. It didn't matter. We were never gonna get that far anyway.
