My Friend Worked For Kim.com

Ignoring the SOPA stuff, I have to tell you my friend at work went to his house for a party as a promotions girl. He gave the girls stripper outfits to wear and they got paid more to be in a bikini. She said his house is insane and his Philippino wife is beautiful. Apart from his family and staff he doesn't have a lot of friends, well in New Zealand at least. My mate is super hot by the way.

I just connected the dots before as she had already told me about this millionaire she worked for and then when the paper mention Kim had a metal transformers statue I realised it was him!

Random eh?

I've seen his too, but from a tree farm I was working on. It's incredible and he has giraffes and a zillion random artistic statues.

is it bad I have absolutely no idea what this thread is about?

Sansa Stark 01-25-2012 05:44 PM

She's talking about the guy who owns Megaupload

Kind of. He's only all over the news.

You do realise I googled "Kim.com" and had absolutely zero results for the term? Its not like I'm unaware megaupload got busted and they spent loads of money on bizarre ****, its just that "Kim.com" means jack **** to me, or, apparently, google.

Phantom Limb 01-25-2012 06:38 PM

It's because his name isn't kim.com, it's Kim Dotcom

I have only been hearing his name, wasn't thinking about correct spelling. Still same thing.

Not surprising considering how good looking he is.

Check out those fish lips! :D

Here's an article from The Daily Mail about Mr. Dotcom...

Megaupload case: 5th arrest as FBI continues hunt for 2 men involved in '$175m piracy ring' | Mail Online

I love the '59 Caddy. (Too bad about the color, though.)
And his license plates are quite revealing. (I will venture a guess that Mr. Dotcom likes to partake of an occasional marijuana cigarette!)

I think it's really, really ****ed up that he was arrested. In fact, when I heard the news I couldn't help but instantly be reminded of this meme

SOPA might be dead but law enforcement agencies continue to pursue terrorist scare tactics on the behalf of ****inh bloated, senselessly greedy corporations, to combat something as trivial and harmless as "copyright infringement". How the **** is Kim Dotcom responsible for what some ****ing 13 year old kid uploads to his site. I'm sure he's the wiser, but what does it ****ing matter?

I'm not defending the actions of the DoJ, but from what I've read, Kim Dotcom was arrested for much bigger stuff than what you're describing.

Regardless of his copyright infringement it certainly looks like he IS a bloated, senselessly greedy corporation. Or at least conducts business like one.
