Like no way. For real?!

I have a couple of mates with good tattoos. One of them has tattoos over most of his upper body and he's travelled to Denmark to get them from a specific tattoo artist. It's a lot of work, but the result shows. That Danish guy is an amazing artist.

So contrary to Above's suggestion to just go with whatever's cheapest, I'd recommend anyone who wants a tattoo to commit themselves a bit to the task. Remember that not all tattoo artists are good at the same stuff and some are frankly just better than others in general. Do some research, spend perhaps a little more money. It's likely gonna be on your body for the rest of your life after all. Might as well get it right.

And again, unless you're seeing a master of portraits, don't get portrait tattoos.

I do agree with this. There is one guy in my area who does phenomenal portrait work, but it's more pricey than other tats in said area.

Look to spend between $150-375 for solid portrait work; if it's any less, he's likely not legitimate.

I'm pretty sure Above was joking.

Yeah, I was wondering about whether or not it was a joke. In the end, I figured the post seemed serious.

It's a good tattoo and it got very good. I appreciate this and in which way it is designed is really fantastic.
