I can't say I disagree. Irish is one of the sexiest accents out there.

Ah! Thanks janzoon!

I'd love to hear more people reading poetry on here!

It was Colerdige, yes: "The rime of the Ancient Mariner", one of my favourites of his. I can do you a slab of "Kubla Khan" if you want... :)

Or if you're really desperate, I could read you some of my own... :shycouch:

I have never read it, so I wasn't expecting the idiosyncratic language. I was like, what the **** am I reading, haha! I mispronounced a few of the words i think, just because I have never seen them before.

OK I finally was able to make one. I usually use the internet at the library, and they have a strangely restrictive firewall.

Vocaroo | Voice message

Sounds muffled because I'm wardriving on a public street with the ol notebook.

Thanks to J Roc's inspiration, I can reduce 5 words to 7 letters. Nomsain?

But it is like that in the Bay Area. You get a lotta nommean, nomsain. Like back to back.

"This trick was straight illin' nommean, nomsain, cuz I got her back to the pad and whoooo-eeee she was like hella amped and what"

I only talk like that in jest.

In fact, I was going to the library yesterday, and I just had done laundry so I forgot to put my belt on. And I'm holding up my pants via my front left pocket. And I'm wearing a hoody, a beanie, and have basketball shorts under my jeans. I saw my reflection, and laughed out loud "oh **** it must be halloween cuz I'm dressed as a wigger today" and some dude nearby laughed. And I walked into the library lobby and I was telling my friend loudly, "can you get the door? I would but I'm a wigger and my hands are full" and once inside, loudly, "I have to take the elevator today, cuz I'm a wigger". Got some great stares.
