If you're after themes I would recommend DeviantArt, that's where I found a lot of stuff.

I'm assuming this issue isn't too big of a deal. Whenever I try to download RocketDock, etc. it'll open it to run the installation, but won't do anything after that. I imagine it's my firewall blocking it, but I can't figure it out.

EDIT: Nevermind! It seems to be working now :)

I'll check it out. I always liked the dock feature in Mac OS, so if I can get something similar in Windows that would be great.

The dock feature in iOS is what inspired me to use a dock in Windows. I use a Mac a lot of the time in work and I've found the dock very useful and convenient. The more recent versions of Ubuntu come with a dock included as well.

Damn, RocketDock isn't compatible with Windows 7 64-bit. I preferred it over Object Dock too :(

Good god my boss got a Windows 8 laptop to do this one task and has given it to me to configure.

I... can't... what did I do to deserve this?

On a more serious note though, I can't believe I actually have to lookup how to find Control Panel so I can uninstall all the bloatware that comes installed. I know I've heard people say you get use to it eventually, but the same thing can be said for leaving your hand on stove element, yeah I'm sure it'll stop hurting eventually but you'll have already done some serious damage to yourself. It might be more tolerable if the laptop had some decent specs, but with a 1.3 gh processor this thing is painfully slow.

Ah well at least I have a project for today.

RocketDock looks nicer than ObjectDock, but it seems to come with one big flaw for me. RocketDock doesn't seem to give you the option to reserve a space for the dock on screen when you have a window open, for example at the bottom of the screen (I prefer to have my start bar at the top), while this is a neat little feature in ObjectDock.

You can set it to stay on top of all windows though, so when you bring your cursor to the edge of the screen where it is it will pop up.

I know about that alright but I find that a tiny bit inconvenient. It's not a major issue but I can be a bit fussy with these little things.

I use it on Win7 X64.
You can run 32bit programs on 64bit operating systems.

The only issue with Rocketdock on X64 is some programs don't minimize to it, but go to the taskbar instead. It's not something that bothers me, personally.

I know, because I have some 32 bit programs on here. But Rocketdock wouldn't install on my computer.
