I started to write about this same aspect myself. Like .. people I work with, dont know that I am a musician, and so on. You saved me the effort Plank. :laughing: Thanks my fellow Musician.

I'm fascinated that they've invented robots that can exhibit such human-like behavior. I think everyone can see that Goofle11 exhibits traits of a true AI, which would be an astounding scientific advancement, but he's apparently unable to perceive this - presumably because actual AI is still at least a decade away.

I always wonder how the thought that there is a general misconception held against you comes to exist. Are people being told by those who have that viewpoint? Nobody comes up to me and gives me a false life story for no reason.

I'm not denying misconceptions exist, but they do seem to be somewhat self-manufactured, based on the stereotype that you may fall into.

Most people are shocked when they find out I smoke weed too. Which I guess is good.
