Have you ever seriously contemplated killing someone?

I don't mean like "I could kill him/her" when you're annoyed with someone, and I also don't mean have you actually set plans to murder someone, but have you, in honesty, ever felt so angered/outraged/used by someone or something someone did that you seriously contemplated ending their life?

I can only say that I thought of it with regard to my father, who was an abusive piece of ****, and would have deserved it. But I'm not prepared to lower myself to that level, and I know I'd be caught and would be terrified of life in prison, not to mention that I couldn't live with such a thing. But in my darkest hours it has occurred to me.

Anyone else ever feel like that?

Didn't we already go through this discussion but the circumstances were slightly different. It ended up with the morally righteous looking down on the morally questionable people.

Also you are lucky we aren't in the future because you'd be in jail for that thought crime!

I've very nearly physically killed someone.

Happened back in high school, let's just say that due to bullying I stabbed someone in the eye with a knife, the wound got infected and they nearly died.

No we did not, that was something totally different. In that, the question was asked if you were paid a huge sum would you kill someone you didn't even know? This is not that question. This is not hypothetical, or a question of morality (well in some ways it is) --- I'm asking has anyone ever been pushed by or hated someone so much that they seriously contemplated murder? Not for gain, not for kicks, not to seem cool. Really.

That thread are this are light-years apart in terms of the question.

She sliced every bit of clothing I owned, ruined my computer by opening it up and pulling all the cables out, she drove to where I was with a young Hanna in the car, pulled up and yelled "You'll never see your daughter again!" as Hanna was crying "Daddy save me!" from the back seat. She's done so much more, but I won't go that far into it.

She's been diagnosed with multiple personalities, as well as borderline personality.

I really thought the world would be a better place without her at one point, but I always kept a level head, and actually used her as a study reference when I was studying Psych. I've always had to have witnesses when around her, and have always been proactive about keeping a legal paper trail for all her bull****.

It's been quite a few years since her episodes, and she has matured a bit. She actually sat down with me and apologized a few years ago.

If she only knew.

Jeez Plankton! What a bitch! Any reason? I'm surprised you were able to keep your head, given that the safety of your daughter was at issue. Well done.

And you actually had to spend time in jail? Wow. Hope that wasn't too hard.

Actually gives me an idea for another thread...

Yes. My long term high school girlfriend's father who had molested her for years.

Jesus. what?? What country are you from? Septicemia shouldn't normally be a problem, having a blade go into your ****ing eye should. I was slightly bullied in school, but I can't imagine ever reacting by stabbing someone in the eye. I have never contemplated killing someone before as far as I know.

I'll start right at the very beginning. Ever since I started High School I'd been bullied a lot about my appearance (greasy hair, dandruff, spots etc). After around 3 years of this I began to get bloody sick of it, so on the bus there was this chavy slut who used to take the piss out of me, when she started having a go I just lost it with her.
I think I exaggerated the dying from the infection but the rest is true. I'm from the UK, be the way.

You're from the UK and you thought Ireland rebelled against Britain in the 70's? :P

Seriously though, bullying is not okay ever. I am sorry it happened to you.

Plankton 04-10-2013 11:31 AM

Being in the Army in the 80's, I was trained to want to kill a Commie for my Mommie. I never actually wanted to though.
