I have this thing called a Buddha Board. It helps me be calm because I can write everything negative on it and it disappears.

I've been craving cigs out of nowhere but I heard even the e-cigs are really bad for your lungs (according to a study I read about) and I'm training for a 5k.

I think they're by the same people!
There's are a couple other ones. The only thing I didn't like about the Quiet Place was that it was saying they wouldn't use caps so it didn't make you feel like you were being yelled at. But in place of caps, they made the words bigger and bolder, which was a little triggering for me in a place that was supposed to be calm. Just a preference, though, I'm sure others disagree! |
- take a long drive, or maybe take the dog for a walk
- hang out with friends, help you forget about whats the problem - or just talk to a good friend or friends about what ever is bothering you I think the best thing to do is talk to someone you really trust with what the problem is, holding all your problems inside makes things even worse and makes you way more stressed out. If you can talk it out, get some outside perspective on the problem it will definitely help you deal big time. Help someone to feel good about themselves.
Since the GF has been off chemo, and she has a clean bill of health now, she's been trying to get healthy. She's been walking, and sometimes biking with me for the most part. I casually told her that she looks great and has a nice glow about her lately. She beamed, and has been genuinely happy ever since. Makes me feel good too. |
