What's the happiest you've ever felt?

The most at peace with the world, elated feeling you have ever felt. Name as many as you want.

>Being a young kid in teens and not having a worry in the world and just hanging out with my friends all summer, and then getting to see all my best friends every day at school.
>Spending the night at friends houses when younger just staying up all night playing video games and eventually discovering weed, lsd, and cough syrup.
>Somehow getting my first girlfriend at 17. I had no idea what to do or how it worked I just knew that I had finally arrived, and was so happy.
>My parents moving out of state after being miserable for so long and my sister/grandmother calling me telling me how happy they were at their new place.

Its really sad though to think of lots of these because they will never happen again. When I was a kid I laughed at all the adults who said being young is magical and don't wish it by. All those friends are getting married, moving, dying, and we will never just be able to all be together oblivious to the world happy with each others company.

I think this is a great thread idea.

> Sitting with my new foster pet asleep on his back in my lap, four paws in the air.
> Meeting David Barnes and seeing his response when my best friend gave him a piece of art inspired by his work.
> Flying in a helicopter over the Seven Sisters on the coast of Melbourne.
> Feeding a kangaroo by hand.
> Climbing Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh.
> Setting foot in Edinburgh for the first time.
> Rounding the corner on Westminster Abbey on an incredibly clear day.
> Finishing Statistics with 99% after thinking myself an utter math-failure my entire life.

What is Seven Sisters? I have never been on a helicopter but I would imagine being in one over some beautiful landscape would be amazing.

I'm a tool: I meant the Seven Apostles. The Sisters are in Kotoomba, and I also saw them, but not from a helicopter.

They're these incredible rock formations on the coast.

-Losing my backpack with basically my whole life in it on the side of a mountain, and finding it the next day.
-Going my whole life afraid of death, and accepting it through complete ego death
-Going to my first rave and dancing for six hours straight, getting like a million hugs

I wasn't really the happiest I've ever been, but this was pretty cool: Guessing on every single question on my chemistry final since it was impossible for me to pass, and getting an 85% on the test. I calculated the odds of that happening, and it's like a .000000000000001% chance.

-Laying on my bed crying about **** before I left town, and having my cat jump up and lay next to me purring the whole night.
-Realizing life has only just begun. A cliche, but it took me a while.

I think of happy in more than just the typical use of the word. My "happiest moments" are not necessarily while smiling and laughing but just feeling no pressure from the world and accepting everything around me. Essentially what you mentioned, ego death. I however sure have a long wy to go when dealing with ego death. feelsbadman

What do you mean? Have you had an ego death before?

For a short time and typically when on drugs. I dont think many people in the history of the world live without ego all the time.
