The only other site I use besides MusicBanter is plug.dj, which is tied in w/ MB. (Maybe you should plug sometime.) I've checked out other sites but it seems MusicBanter is more active than some of them. I've look for other around ever so often. Some sites the latest post is like a day, and the second posts etc are even a week old. I think part of some sites being less active is the ever growing presence of other social media like factbook ect.

Even if I did frequent another site I don't think I would divulge that information. 1. It would be right to this site to defer its members to another site 2. I think I would want a clean break from this site. Despite some of the members who exhibit trollish behavior, I've became accustom to the cast of characters on MB (there is a dichotomic nature of friendly and idiotic here) and I can't imagine another site that would offer such a diversity like that... maybe there would, but it wouldn't be the same.

I used to frequent a psy-trance music forum which was pretty good. 50% of the talk there was about drugs, science and philosophy and I liked that. The down side was the only music talk was, yes, you guessed it, about psy-trance.

They were an incredibly tolerant lot though. They even tolerated the intolerant.

With the amount of posts this place gets and how active it is all the time, i'd like to know why you consider this forum to be dead.
