What do you want to be?

When you leave school?

I always wanted to do as I liked - so I did for a bit, then I had to get a job :(

(Pikey Pikey do as you likey)

jibber 02-28-2004 02:40 PM

planning on going to art school to be a graphic designer. then i'd be able to do something I love and get paid for it :D

DJ_Jester 02-28-2004 03:07 PM

Well I always wanted to be a programmer like dad and do web design cuz I'm an internet nut. So I do both now. :D I get to do web design plus all the back end programming that goes along with it. Now all I have left is wanting to be King! ;)

I'm hoping to take some basic culinary college courses after I graduate and eventually get accepted into a culinary university. From there become a professional chef and open my own trendy downtown restaurant on college street :)

Or become involved in graphic design, I've always had a interest in that.

abakubub 02-28-2004 08:56 PM

If I could do anything I wanted, I'd be a philosopher, but it's unlikely that I'd get paid for sitting around and thinking a lot... I'll probably end up being a professor or a theologist or an ethicist.

Well I dropped out of highschool, but right now hoping to start a company doing network consulting, then put myself through a bigger university and get a degree in Business Law and either start my own big corp or doing consulting.

That is if a few of my projects and possible patents don't work out...

MobilizeTerror 03-11-2004 07:17 PM

Either be a car customizer or a graphic/webpage designer... or learn to be a welder for fun and get paid some good money for it.. i guess

Rockafella Skank 03-11-2004 08:41 PM

I just want to be a businessman in the computer sector.

Xarius 03-11-2004 09:29 PM

Thrice, thats awesome man. which part of it are you in right now?

winterslastbreath 03-12-2004 11:05 AM

no idea. makes me frustrated sometimes too.

i'd like to get into photography. i take scenery pix right now with my semi-****ty digital camera and half of them are okay i guess, but my high school doesn't have a photography class.

the closest to a class of photography is art. i don't know, i don't think i'd enjoy it at my school becuz it's all about the academic and quizzes and tests. and i love to draw. but i don't want to be tested on like, vocabulary words and stuff. maybe that's part of being an artist though??

but yea, soo i figured to wait until college to get into photography more and get a good camera. after that.... no idea.

ouch that seriously sucks .. i've always had a bit of an interest in photography, and I'm planning on taking a course by the time I get to grade 11, my school offers it for now.

(thats right... I'm probably the youngest mod here)

even if your school doesn't offer it, check out some local colleges. in my city there are alot of night courses offered for people planning on applying to art school later on, maybe you can find a photography course you can take
