I'm gonna try and get a girl to go with me. I might just ask a girl I've been friends with for a while, and make it a not gf and bf but just friends. That's okay isnt it?

My daughter did that, and I have to say as her Father I was very happy with that arrangement.

'Course it is. Could be more fun that way.

Best way to go

I went with guy mates for the two proms I went to. It's totally not that important to have to go with a girl you're going to get with. The real fun is with the after party. I got absolutely tanked and shared spit.

Never been, but they look kinda fun in the movies. I'd go.

Same and you pretty much already decided you are going so that's good. It's all up to you.

I personally didn't go to mines because I hated my graduating class and I didn't want to socialize with those *******s outside of a class room setting.

What didn't you like about your graduating class?

Way less stress that way, and you get the chance to show the girl you're going with that you are a true gentlemen and not someone who wants to get in her pants. You'll do alright, you seem like a stand up guy.

I hated that I moved to this city in 10th grade so I wasn't going to get to graduate with my friends and other people that I grew up with. I was so bitter about the move that I didn't establish the type of friendships that carry on after school and I shunned anyone that attempted to acknowledge my existence outside of the school itself. I did all of my social climbing only in school hopping from group to group but never making true connections with them.

Yeah, moving to new schools is difficult. I experienced that a lot as a kid.
