Prom Tips

Basically I wanna go to the prom but i need to know some stuff:

If I can't get a girl to go with me should I still go?
Is it a tradition or something that boys have to ask girls or can girls ask me?
Is it even that good?

-In terms of dances in general, if you have a group of friends that you like to hangout with, just go with them and have a good time.
-I don't think it's a tradition, the same could be said in terms of whether or not a woman can propose. It happens all the time.
-I wouldn't know, I didn't go to my prom. However, i did go to a lot of school dances and just hungout with friends and danced and had a blast.

1) You don't need a date. Sometimes it's better that way. Then you can dance with whoever you want and you're not tied to one person.

2) Anyone can ask anyone to the prom.

3) Is what good? Prom? Sure, it's a lot of fun. I almost didn't go to mine but I'm glad I did!

Some schools have dress codes for prom - mostly for girls (like length of dress, etc). You can get away with a suit, but the dress code usually requires a necktie.

No idea if it's good. I didn't go to mine, my year was the first year in my school to have a prom. I preferred the 'get pissed on White Lightning on the school field after school' thing to be honest.

Yes, definitely go. Even if it's with just a friend or bunch of friends. Better to have gone than to become old and bitter about it later.

The reason I didn't go to my prom is due to the fact that I didn't have the funds to allow for it, and I just didn't want to go. My school hyped it up so much that it just seemed like way too much work. I found being at home and chilling with a few friends playing video games to be a much better use of my time, and it definitely was.
