Christmas snuck up on me this year. I got all of my gifts earlier but it kind of hit me today that Christmas is near. I think I might actually be feeling the Christmas spirit!

Since I do my Christmas thing on the eve rather than the day, due to logistics, I will share my wonderful gifts.

3 excellent cooking pans/pots.
1 very handy closet organizer that I desperately needed.
1 11 month old nephew who I got to see walk for the first time. He mastered it by the time he left. In his own convertible, fully loaded with women and booze. Well, not that part. But still, it was pretty awesome.

We ate:
- Corn & crab bisque
- Shrimp jambalaya
- Crab Casserole
- Crab stuffed mushrooms
- Shrimp pirogues


So full.

I don't know about hate, but it's definitely overrated. The pie itself is kinda meh, but it's the meringue that pisses me off. Whenever I bite into meringue I always think, "Hey, this whipped-cream is so old that's it's solidified and lost all flavor."
