Dude beat me to it!

We could all learn a thing or two from that man.

RoxyRollah 12-30-2013 12:50 PM

you are right, he charges to snap his picture... hey if you are good at something never do it for free...

well I think our most interesting one is this, just opened in September I think it was, a new library, by day:

By night (they turned it claret & blue until some time in January):

Won building of the year worldwide, will become another iconic Midlands landmark like the Selfridges store:

I like that they stick in your memory & are different, should definitely stay.

Soho House where the Lunar Society met:

Hows THAT for attention whoring?!

LOL nice

I made a landmark too, and while it's hardly world famous it is registered with the Smithsonian as an original work of art. It's found on the Burke-Gilman trail in Lake Forest Park, WA, I had nothing to do with the art but much to do with the labor, I mixed all the concrete and worked it into the mold of this local landmark

Me in front of a landmark in the national park in my home state, my current avatar is found in this almost perfectly clean clear water

*edited to add: you'll have to take my word for it, I do own other shirts. It just seems that every time I get my picture snapped I'm wearing that one...

See my sig.

Lunar Society of Birmingham - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Quote:

The name arose because the society would meet during the full moon, as the extra light made the journey home easier and safer in the absence of street lighting. The members cheerfully referred to themselves as "lunarticks", a pun on lunatics.
