Objects of Desire (Wishlist thread)

I'm not aware of a thread like this (not counting the instrument wishlist thread), as I used several obvious keywords in the search to no avail. We all have those things we want or are going to get, but it's merely a matter of assets that presents a minor problem. I plan on keeping this a relatively realistic thread, things you're most like to get, but are really wanting at this very moment. So my fellows, what is it that you desire?

I'll go first.

I've only recently discovered these, after years of wondering what that sound actually was. I love how they sound, and they are relatively inexpensive. I might also be able to use it for sound collages in the future as well. I mean, I like sound, I like zoning out and keeping my hands occupied, I have an interest in Buddhism, so why shouldn't I get one?

I've been really into electronic music made with analog synths for a while now, and considering the MS20 is a relatively inexpensive semi-modular dream with a monster sound, it just seems obvious to me. This youtube video below in particular sealed the deal for me, so this is going to be my next big purchase.

One of my friends pointed this book out to me (I've got like 6 I still need to finish). It's got two things about it that grabbed me right off the bat, zen Buddhism and John frickin' Cage. My admiration for John Cage himself goes pretty deep, he's such a positive influence, and just watching an interview with him usually makes my heart smile. If there's one trait from anyone that I envy, it's his positivity. His fascination with sound even in old age reminded me of a child's sense of wonder and awe.

This t shirt Tinie Tempah wore at Glastonbury a few years ago I think it was. Been looking for something similar, never found one, it's the artwork from BIDC:

I'd love a Tibetan singing bowl as well. There's something magical and mysterious about the sound they make.

What are you waiting for. They have them for under 30 bucks just about everywhere. Unless you're looking for a name brand.

I want a kettle corn maker. They look cool and the functionality of being able to supply the ladies with endless supplies of kettle corn is too tempting.

I've got one but I don't use it. Was bought for me to cook cheese toasties on but it's not a toastie maker; instead of enclosing the edges of the bread as a normal toastie maker would, this flattens the bread the more you close it resulting in flattened toasties with the contents seeping out. Mistake of the person who bought it.

What's so good about them? What are you meant to cook with them?

Its designed to cook Paninis. They are usually made with focaccia bread which is very good and extremely thick to allow the ingredients to slow cook while not burning the bread. Theres nothing amazing about it, however paninis are pretty great. I make breakfast sandwiches with them, usually salmon and cream cheese/goat cheese/basil sandwiches.

To be honest, that looks like a George Foreman grill.

I'd love to have this white gold flute. I just don't have the $60,000 to spend on it :(
