Ever feel like sitting in front of the PC too long, is killing you?
Simple question.
I hate this damned thing, but I keep coming back. Music music music. Ya. |
Simple answer: no.
The PC and the internet provide the gateway for me to do what I love. In the old days it was a typewriter, then an electric typewriter, then a word processor, now it's a computer. WITHOUT the PC I might very well die. It could be the one thing keeping me alive. Certainly sane. |
It is slowly killing you by being inactive for long periods of time. It increases your chances of dying early from a heart attack. Get up move around maybe go outside for fresh air.

Heart attacks don't discriminate. |
Yes, but only because my keyboard has been coated with arsenic.

Is my computer in league with the piano I wonder?
Anyway don't worry about me: all that running up and down the stairs to my sis every five minutes is keeping me fit. I don't think I'll SUDDEN CHEST PAIN!!!!! That was NOT funny, I know, but I'm a bastard and couldn't resist it. |

And, like every other I have beaten back into submission...it takes time. Studies have been done!!!! The internet ...in gen. causes your frontal lobes to shrink. By the time you realize it, it's too late..... “In a way, staring into a computer screen is like staring into an eclipse. It's brilliant and you don't realize the damage until its too late.” Bruce Sterling, of all people. What a trainwreck. It's not all bad. But, that's kinda the worst part. Anyways, not trying to be 'controversial'. Or, argumentative. If I get argy bargy, please, warn me. (again). Eventually. I will listen. Or... |
