Choose Your Own Adventure Story

RULES:

The story will be written based on your choices. At the end of each story segment you will receive two or more options on how to progress the story. Once someone has chosen an option, respect that choice and don't try to overrule it. The next story segment will then be written. Discussion and banter in between segments is fine. This is meant to be fun and silly. For the first one I've gone with a 70s Kung-Fu theme.

ANCIENT CHINA IN A YEAR UNKNOWN

By an order of His Celestial Majesty the Emperor, the notorious convicted murderer Yim Wing-Chun, who has been imprisoned for her crime, is commanded to be released from prison in answer to a public petition. This is good news. After all, you are Yim Wing-chun. A tall, broad, powerful woman, you are the first master of the fine martial art Wing-Chun, which bears your namesake.

You have been escorted by private carriage to the village of Xia He. Waiting for you is your long suffering fiancé, Hou Sheng.

SHENG
Wing! Oh my Wing. Can it really be you? I have missed you so.

YOU
Sheng, my fiancé, it is good to see you.

You embrace.

SHENG
Those bastards locked you away! I thought I would never see you again.

You know it is not safe here. The Shaolin Temple will have heard of your release from prison by now. The men of the temple have vowed revenge against you since you killed their master, Bek Mei, The White Lotus.

YOU
Sheng, my love, the men of Shaolin will be looking for us here.

SHENG
Don’t you worry about a thing, love. I’ve already booked us a honeymoon suite at the inn a mile outside of the village.

The sun has already begun to sink into the horizon, there isn’t much daylight left.

Options:

Stay at the inn a mile outside of Xia He.

A mile is not far enough, travel to the next village overnight.

Yeah before your time. I used to get them whenever the Scholastic book fair would come to school along with Animorph and Goosebump books.
