Do You Only Drink Local Beer?
I do. If New England is local, that's all I do. New England has some great breweries. I'm sipping a CT local, Cottrell IPA. Support local

Usually, yeah. But I'm pretty happy with any beer if there is nothing else available.

Most people drink shit beer in the UK.
The four highest selling ones are Carling (shit), Foster's (shit), Stella (shit) and Carlsberg (shit). Next up is Budweiser which just tastes of wet dog. Go in any off license those are the ones you will see, maybe Desperados and Red Stripe (deece) if you look hard enough. No idea why people drink these, most people have nothing good to say about them but yet still buy them? |
Yup, it's called 'Medalla' and it is cheap and gets the job done :)
http://images01.olx.com.pr/ui/11/04/...s-San-Juan.jpg I remember being drunk with my friends endorsing the Medalla saying stuff like: "This was made here so all the profits remain here, **** foreign beer, support your local beer!" :p: |

not unless there is a major plate shift and Belgium becomes part of Northern Nevada....
we have three local breweries and one chain in Reno.... The Great Basin has been a staple of mine since i was 21....great beer with very inventive brewers, great food...simple brew pub food with often a little twist.....wonderful atmosphere with approachable staff and customers....i still go there at least once a week and now that they bottle....i primarily turn to their balanced IPA when just grabbing a six pack The Silver Peak...has alright beer, overpriced shitty food...a sterile environment and is usually packed with yuppie pieces of shit....who think they fucking know everything....simply not my type of place Brasserie Saint James....i've only been there once and while the beer was very good....with a concentration on Belgium style ales....the staff was a bit to...."hipstery" for me and rather distant....the atmosphere was very relaxing but the menu was a) very expensive and b) very upper class....i will say though they do have several great options for those who choose not to eat meat....i'll certainly go back....the staff weren't *******s....just put me off a little....the beer was great BJ's is a chain brewery....that i think is all over the states....defiantly in all of California and Nevada.....the beer isn't bad at all for a chain with good rotating special brews....the food is good but a little expensive....and the atmosphere is much like an upper class sports bar....worth it for lunch and a couple of decent beers |

Also availability, rarely if ever see local stuff in pubs or offies, the same shitty brands again and again. There used to be loads of Brum breweries but a few have closed down, or moved ffs. |
