I've always had pets. Fish, Turtles, Tarantulas, Hamsters, Rats, Cats, Dogs... They're all great but I have to go with dogs, simply because that's what I have at the moment. A tiny, high maintenance, destructive, loving, cuddly little chihuahua-jack russell by name of Corona. I do wish she were a cat at times though. Good god with the barking at random ass things in the middle of the night.

I stayed over at my friends sisters place (house sitting) recently and their damn dog not only smelled, had skin problems and he barked all through the night which meant we had very little sleep.

A really cute/funny video I made of my cat.

BTW, for those who think cats can't be like dogs, this is my sister's and brother-in-law's cat. Several people have told me their cats also fetch, but it doesn't seem to be something you can teach a cat to do - either they do it by themselves, or they don't.

I once tried to teach a room mate's cat to fetch, but it was ... forget it. Same with my own cat. But obviously it's not a problem with my sister's cat.

Cat person all the way.

I like Dogs as well, but they're always very needy and they always invade my space by trying to jump on me and lick me whenever I'm around them. They're a lot like kids. I can handle them in small doses, but being around them all the time would drive me nuts.

Dogs are smelly as fuck. I like them but they do stink.

Have you heard of the Savannah? They are really big, a cross between servals and domestic house cats, they're meant to act like dogs.

I had a huge orange cat named Boots that I used to play fetch with. I would throw a piece of crumbled up paper down the stairs and he would run down to get it and bring it back to me.

lol I remember you posting about Boots before. The cat who exposed his belly to be rubbed only to clamp on to people's arms.

My cat doesn't fetch, if I throw crumpled paper he just runs over to it and sits next to it .
