This isn't the surgery itself, mind you. They're gonna cut into my leg and run some kind of contraption all the way up to my neck. She told me that it's routine for them. Not too terribly routine for me. Fecking scared...
JC that's bloody awful! Hope you're ok bb.

Ya think? I'm in a HOSPITAL awaiting BRAIN SURGERY, Batty.

HANDS DOWN the best email I've received

"Got the word that you're going to have surgery on your aneurysm. It's about time! Get that gaping thing sewn up and tightened up so you're as good as...wait, my wife just told me that 'aneurysm' is not the same as 'ass hole'. Ooops!"

My thoughts are with you and although it's an invasive procedure I am so happy that you can now look towards getting the treatment you need.

I really don't know how to word this subtlety but just by having this procedure means that you have passed a massive stepping stone and it means that your body is much stronger than you realise. I speak from experience regarding this procedure and wish you all the best fella. Stay strong.
