RIP Robin. You brought joy, humour and love into my life from when I was a child, a teenager and then as a woman. You're my favourite comedian and you reallynwere an angel on earth.

Oh and Mrs Doubtfire and The Dead Poet Society for me.

"Oh Captain, my captain."

I think this has bothered more than a lot of celebrity deaths. He's the definition of a household name. I couldn't imagine growing up without Robin Williams movies. I don't even think it has quite sunk in yet.

Its hard to see someone with so much talent just throw it all away. I remember him from Happy Days before he was on Mork and Mindy. I had the suspenders as a kid and used to wear the **** out of those things proudly. He had so much depth and charisma as an actor, I can't really think of too many actors that had his ability. To swing from Drama to Comedy like that and do it flawlessly always amazed me. My mom literally called me crying yesterday and said i'm so sad, and I hadn't seen the news yet. When she told me what happened it felt like I lost a family member.

Gonna dig out the suspenders and rock those bad boys.

No shame. RIP

Nobody mentioned his oscar winning performance in Good Will Hunting.

its crazy that everyone has a different favorite Robin Williams movie. thats how great he was

this weekend is me and a few of my friends annual camping trip to a friends lake lot. shes got a trailer that we stay in that has this tiny tv and a vcr. when we go out we'll have a night where we'll play the aladdin drinking game (basically just drinking while watching the movie). weve done this for 4 or 5 years now. i dont think we'll be continuing that tradition this year. RIP dude you were the best.

I don't see why people compare celebrity deaths. It is always very very sad when anyone passes. I think it depends on what that person or celebrity meant to the person mourning.

I am more sad about this then what I thought I would be. He definitly was a big part of my childhood.
