Do you call any stay at home mom a slacker? I'm trying to get pride and passion from a talent that I've been running from for years. I have not been happy in any of the position I've had in the last 15 years I've been in the "working world" and it's has lead to alcohol and money spending issues, which in turn has put a strain on our relationship. Now that she is working (which she would rather do) and is making a comfortable living, I want to contribute as well as continue my possible music career.

If you actually want someone to take your advice you shouldn't start with "Stupid Question". but i'm sure your just here to put down stranger's who have real questions.

He was referring to his own question.

Yeah that's true. Should have put the old colon in. That is what I meant but I see how it could have been misinterpreted.

FTR, this is what I meant: "The following question I am going to ask is a stupid one, as I'm sure you've considered this but..."

and this is what I did not mean:

"Your question is stupid.."

Apologies if I came across in that way, definitely not intended. I understand where your reply was coming from now.

Hope that clears everything up.

Also, imo if your wife has agreed to this arrangement then I don't think you should be penalised for it or slagged over it. After all, it's not like you said "You go out and work woman, I want to play my music!" is it? If you're both comfortable with the arrangement, fair play t'ye both. Is what I say.

Gotta love when people consciously choose to breed, then wonder why they never have time to enjoy themselves.

You should not assume I was conscious... plus you've never made a mistake that has changed your life. I must give up on life because created life... lesson learned.

Everyone has a choice. You made your bed, man. All that's left to do is slowly die in it.
