Thinking

So, we all do it. Some of us less than others, but they do it nonetheless. Have you ever heard the phrase "think before you speak" or "think before you do." Imagine a life where your thoughts had absolutely no effect on your actions whatsoever. Is there anything you would do/would have done differently if you didn't have to think it through first? I understand that this question is ironic since you're having to think about it, but that's part of the fun.

Do you ever wonder where you'd be in life if you never had to think about whether or not the action you were going to take would either positively or negatively impact your life? And also, have you not done something because you knew it would have a negative impact on your life?

I imagine I would have gotten into more relationships or overdosed and died. Probably both.

Mondo Bungle 01-24-2015 12:34 AM

I'll have to start thinking before I act as it is and get back to you

WWWP 01-24-2015 12:35 AM

I definitely would have separated from my family earlier, disregarded religion earlier, banged a lot of people, and gotten a really good job.

I was kind of hoping for an answer like this, not in a way that I hoped someone was doing things without thinking, but I have always thought it'd be an interesting experiment to see how much positive can come to someone when they start thinking, and how much negative can come to someone who stops thinking. It'd also be interesting to see if that proves to be complete bull**** in the sense that regardless of whether we think or not, we can be positive or negative either way.

I hope i'm making sense.

The Batlord 01-24-2015 12:51 AM

I'd probably have been put in a wheelchair by some dude in grade school I pissed off.

RoxyRollah 01-24-2015 10:34 AM

Id not have a sealed criminal record. Id live in England and Id have never touched the capitol and lived off the intrest!

ladyislingering 01-24-2015 10:40 AM

I'd be dead by now.

RoxyRollah 01-24-2015 10:46 AM

ahaha I read that as Id be gay by now. Sorry,LOL.

Overcast 01-24-2015 10:52 AM

I'd be naked in a cave banging sticks on rocks and drinking my own piss.

Pet_Sounds 01-24-2015 11:04 AM

I'd probably be a juvenile delinquent.

Cogito ergo sum.

Goofle 01-24-2015 11:20 AM

I'd have shit my pants thousands of times.

Isbjørn 01-24-2015 11:28 AM

This is pretty much how I live already. I never really think about what I'm doing I just do and hope for the best. I work just hard enough to maintain my ability to work and party hard enough to not let it affect work. Once in a while I slip but ffs, I'm just young and holding on to that.

I regularly make decisions that negatively impact my life and don't face too many consequences. I'd probably be making a lot more money if I stopped ****ing around and really, really applied myself towards something. But in the meantime getting ****ed up has too much appeal.

lmao... FIDLAR

I think the only thing i'd change with all the decisions i've made in life is going to college right out of high school. I got out with a 3.8, or 3.5 gpa. Can't remember. I'd be making way more money than I am now although with the experience I have, I could still make way more money even without college. However, i'm not disappointed in the least bit with how things have gone. Couldn't be happier in all honesty.

I can totally picture Ki and LiL together: LiL with a glass of vodka in one hand and a sad expression, wondering where her life went wrong---while Ki's sitting next to her on the couch with a bowl of Fruit Loops, watching SpongeBob and laughing like a two-year-old.

I'm thinking that we're starting to reach to the bottom of the well for topics nowadays.

Mondo Bungle 01-24-2015 12:59 PM
