Hi all,

I'm misspoptart, totally upset by the lack of people in my life that listen to unique and interesting tracks, but also disappointed with the general lack of music appreciation my friends have! Since I moved to a new country, I've relished in exposure to wild and crazy stuff from in and around Europe, but I'm still not satisfied! I'm hoping this community will help that a bit!

So, I like music from probably every genre in every country, and a lot of what I love I probably haven't even discovered yet. My newest addiction is dubstep (I'm a newb, though). I also have a review blog for trashy Euro tunes and their accompanying dumb videos, because in my homeland (the US), we don't get enough of that.

I look forward to reading all of you and catching up on the latest!

I'm the same....

Hope whoever hacked it gets a terminal disease (or a diseased terminal!) ....

I see. Yes, it's still there. You do realize anyone can access all of those files right?

Are you guys ready for pretentious? Okay, here's pretentious.

The album's good, but his voice gets in the way. Like so many others, a great musician has let a fantastic album slip to the level of good to fulfill the urge to attach words to music. Brilliant cellist though, very enjoyable if not for the voice

No I don't. My FTP is password-protected. Anyway they're only images. But if you know of a way to get around the protection and can tell me how to prevent that, I would be interested and perhaps indebted to you.

Your FTP may be password protected, but that particular directory is not. If I go to trollheart.com I can grab anything in there, which tells me that you have things stored in the root, and not in an FTP directory. You'd need to contact your hosting service in order to straighten that all out, which I'm assuming is letshost or softlayer from the whois lookup. I only know how to do it in the hosting services I use which are 1and1, and AT&T, and things may be a bit different, so any info I may give would be a bit off.

I store web content such as index.htm and all subsequent web pages in the root, and for files I want to store on the server for access by me or anyone I give the login info to, I keep in a separate protected directory, which can't be seen by just going to my website url, such as in your situation.

I am currently obsessed with Rocco DeLuca & the Burden. They opened up for a concert I went to last summer and I've been hooked ever sinse.
Ugh

No, but with the SEO musicbanter gets that thread shows up pretty high on Google (page 2 now apparently). If you go through the thread you see a couple others joined because of it but never stayed, I think Carpe may be the only one actually...

Yeah, a lot of my images are stored in the graphics directory, but since I have to reference that in any link (eg http://www.trollheart.com/Graphics/name.jpg) I usually don't bother and just throw everything on the root. You think I shouldn't perhaps? Mind you, I don't care if anyone gets to the files as long as it's not possible to hack into the code of the image or whatever and slip malware or viruses in. I don't want to be an MB pariah again.

Shut up, Batty...
