One of the instrumentals. |

That was GREAT! |
And this would be one of the songs with vocals. They're still growls, but they're not nearly as intrusive or extreme as most death metal.
|
And like you said they're a bit buried in the mix. I'm gonna download this one. What's the name of the album?
Thanks! |

I love some Panopticon

How about some "Best" Dad moments? This might get a little sappy, so if you're not into touchy feely, then you might wanna stop reading here.
The day my daughter was born, I had a job interview. I left, got the job, came back to the hospital, and she was born. The doctor cleaned her up, and put her in my hands. I held her up, and we looked at each other. She smiled at me. I smiled back at her, but with tears in my eyes. In the middle of a show at a residential home when my daughter was 6, she came running up to me yelling "Daddy! Daddy! Help!". I stopped right in the middle of a solo, and asked her what was wrong. She said some little boy was chasing her and wouldn't leave her alone. I nodded to the band, and left to take care of the problem. Daughter>Music Rescuing her from her mom when her mom was out of control. She'd lay on my chest as I held her to comfort her as her mom threw dishes, and glass wear all over the house while yelling and being manic. I'd just softly sing to her and tell her it's going to be alright. Countless nights of back rubs as Enya softly played in the background while she drifted off to sleep. I bought her first car a couple of years ago, and she takes better care of it than I do my own guitars. These days, the best Dad moments are when we go out for breakfast, or when she calls just to tell me she loves me. |
The moment I truly fell head over heels in love with my daughter was a couple of days after we brought her home. It was the middle of the night and I gave Linda a break and got up to do the bottle. House was super quiet and mostly dark. Was sitting in a big rocking chair feeding her and she grabbed my thumb really hard and stared straight into my eyes for the entire time.
She's had me ever since. https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.n...022e964ac90c8b |
When my daughter was around 5 months old, One day me and her mother was watching her sleep and talking about her and for some reason she abruptly woke up gave us a smile and then slammed her head to the bed and kept sleeping.
Her mother and me just started laughing cause it came outta nowhere and cause i nap the same way. :p: |
That's what I'm talkin about. Some good stuff gents.

My daughter was my Caddie for the 2005 Illinois State Championships though. She screamed because of a bee right when I was shooting a putt to tie for 3rd place. I laughed about it, most others would have had a different attitude. |

I´m happy to say that I can relate to your stories, Plank, Chula and BF, and I´d like to contribute a couple of scenes I´ll never forget. Here they are in the order in which they happened:- Sorry to hear about the manic behaviour, Plankton...in calmer circumstances, I also remember my child falling asleep on my chest as I rocked in a hammock; if I spread out my hand, it´d cover his entire back, and I remember thinking, "Enjoy it while you can son, this kind of physical security won´t last forever!" One morning, when he was walking, but not yet talking, I was at the backdoor step, sawing a piece of wood for a shelf. My son came to see what was going on, then ran off to his bedroom. A minute later he´s back with a big smile and his own little yellow plastic saw. He squeezes right in between me and the piece of wood so his saw is exactly in line with mine and then starts sawing away like me... Even though it meant getting dirty, I liked taking my baby son into the back garden from a very early age. One morning after a tour of the garden, he sat on that same backdoor step while I took off his shoes, oozing with mud. As he watched the proceedings he suddenly said "poopoo shoe." It was the very first time he´d put two words together on his own. Clichés are clichés for a reason, and I remember teaching my son to ride a bike, finally pushing him off on his wobbly adventure, just like you see in the movies. Later he wanted to show off his new skill, so we met his aunts, cousins, grandma in the local park and he demonstrated by doing a circuit or two of a basketball court. He ended the performance by braking in front of me and saying, "Daddy, you´re the max!" - a glowing moment of father-son pride. So that´s up to what?, age seven, more or less, but I´ll spare you any further sacharine installments for the moment. |

My daughters mom is/was a nightmare, but that's all in the distant past. She's been out of our lives for over a decade now. Being a single Dad has been a tough road, but having such an incredible daughter made it easy. |
^ I didn´t know that. Single Dad to a daughter must be tricky at times.
I also split from my partner when my son was small; I let her have the house and I got the child. Although I was pretty pinched for time and money for about a decade, I always knew that I had the best side of the bargain. I think my only regret was that my son was an only child - he really could´ve used the companionship of a sibling to help see him through.( All his classmates seemed to come from model nuclear families like the Cosby Show or whatever.) Is your girl an only child too? |
I've been on the receiving end of a pretty good dad moment. My band and I were in my garage recording what would later become Indecent Vibrations (which sounds like this). After we finished recording one of the tracks my dad comes into the garage and asks "Why don't you play a SONG?"
When he left we figured that it must have been one of our better tracks to befuddle Frownland Sr. We were right. |

The first band i was ever in was called K.O.D but then we later changed our name to The Units.
Both names are better than WDYPAS. |

But WDYPLAS sounds like you're just trying to make a shitty quip on a music forum.
