Maybe because it's actually somewhat funny?

If the big man at least had some funny moments I wouldn't mind his persona. He tries and fails, unfortunately.

Plus he's fat. Fat people are inherently funnier.

i love the way only half of his mouth seems to function properly... probably due to a stroke or something... reminds me of one of those old school popeyes cartoons
