Gus. My name is not Gustav or Gustavo or something, it's Joe. One night I was at this family and friend thing for like... someone's birthday or 4th of July or something and met someone. I leave the room to go somewhere, he asks "where's Gus?" since he didn't know my name and it just stuck. People who weren't even there ended up calling me Gus. My mother called me it. One of my nieces called me uncle Gus.

It got entirely out of hand. Makes me laugh now though.

Ashley = Ash. I don't mind it though. My name is so uninspired I welcome any nicknames people have chosen for me.

Any sort of pet-name (honey, darling, dear, sweetheart, etc.) you can possibly imagine.

People just sort of have fun with my name for some reason.

ha I have a friend named Ashley and its either Ash, Smash or Crash for what we call her. depends on what shes doing I guess.

the only thing I have close to a nickname is Nola but that's more of an insider joke with some of my friends than anything. neither my first or last name really have much in terms of nicknamability
