Testing 1, 2, 3 - Home recording with iPhone

Was about to buy a cheap field recorder and then remembered my iPhone has a voice memo app. Wanna get some feedback as to how this sounds through your different playback systems. Through mine it's a bit low volume (it's finger plucked which doesn't help) and I can hear a fair amount of ambient noise. Not much high end either.

Get the Record Plus App, might work out better.

That's not something I'd use to make a proper recording. If I had an iPhone, I'd probably go with something like this:

AmpliTube iRig - Walmart.com

I've heard good things about Amplitube, and that's pretty cheap if even just to knock around with it a bit. Also, if your acoustic isn't wired, then just mic to it. Gotta be better than the default mic in the phone. Nice little baroque piece, btw.

Test 2 with a pick and a different "mic" location. Trying to keep this as brainless as possible.
