I think a better question is why mods lock threads at OP request if it isn't breaking any forum rules or leading to inappropriate discussion. A few people were having fun discussing an offshoot topic of the OP discussion(which died out), and it get's locked because Ki no longer wants to participate?

Nope. I requested a lock because a few times I asked for people to stop the pointless arguing and get back on topic with the OP. People chose not to do that and at that point, I decided to just have it locked altogether. I'm not throwing names out there and this is the last post i'm going to make on the subject. If you feel you need to respond to this or anything else in this thread, keep me out of it.
