Oh God, It's Happened Again

More bombs found in "suspicious circumstances" today in london. Yet the government wont tell us what has exactly happened. Does this spell out how i am going to spend the rest of my adolescence fearing? I don't want to step on a train again for fear of some religious fanatic or otherwise unloading a bomb upside my 'head. This is truly a deplorable situation, Enoch Powell.

The info we're getting over here is very vague, uninformative, and very politically correct media-crunched mumbo jumbo, as of right now. I have alot of speculation, but I don't think any of it is appropriate until I hear more of what happened.
So were there explosion(s) or "attempts at explosions"?

I have heard both!!! i hate the vagueness it's so.......grrr!! I want to know, as a member of the public, what the **** is happening to my own country.

We always hear this phrase "in the public interest" if a story is deemed personal yet highly important to the public is somewhat must be released, so the bloddy media give us stories about David Beckham looking at some tart but not telling us what the HELL is happening to our very own soil.... I pray this is it... these bomb threats are starting to give me paranoia.

when 9/11 happened here, everyone was paranoid, dozens of suspicious packages were being found all over the country every day which turned out to be nothing. I wouldnt go out of my way to change my daily routines just be a little more cautious of your surroundings. These "terrorists" are hoping that they can create as much panic as they can so the end results would be lost revenue from all of the chaos. Im not sure of the exact number, but im guessing US lost billions of dollars just from people freaking out and not going to work, or flying, or taking busses like they normally would. Shutting down a community for a couple days reaks all sorts of havoc financially, put that on a bigger scale, say, shutting down an entire state or country for a few days, and the impact can be more hurtful then the initial attack. Dont let these people strike enough fear in you for this to happend.

well now london gets a tast of what our governement is like!

HomesickAtSpaceCamp 07-21-2005 12:46 PM

Sneer 07-21-2005 01:15 PM

well im still going london on saturday. you cant let those fanatical bastards stop you living your life. plus, i need to go for art purposes.

shandapanda 07-21-2005 02:37 PM

man, i saw that on bbcnews(i happen to get it), i heard they're saying it's just some extremist group trying to prove some sort of point. i hope it's okay, my bro says he seldom commutes to london,so i'm not too concerned for him....but it's still scary, the swedish news people are making speculations about it getting 'closer' even though sweden mostly seems to be neutral.

Seems like the idiots who tried to plant the bombs didn't get the actual bombs to detonate, just the detonaters. Looks like that saved a lot of lifes, which is a great thing. Seems like they are trying to scare the people of London.

blackTshirt 07-22-2005 12:39 AM

i heard something about people seeing a man with wires coming out of him.... hmmmm

anyways, these attacks really scared the shit out of me, cause if it happens in my city, it's gonna be where i am.. subways, buses, restaurants, stuff like that...
fuck, you can't really feel safe anymore.. we can go on with our lives, though, thinking that if we have to die, we can either die in an attack or cause of a brick falling on our head. if it's gotta happen, it does
