In the dream I walked a long way,but I was still on bed when I waked up…

Last night, I dreamt an unforgettable dream, in which I resigned from my present job and found an easy and high-income one; in which I met my best friend I haven’t met for long, and we talked about the happiness in our childhood as we ate our favorite ice-cream.
But when I waked up at midnight, I found it was just a dream. And in the next morning, I still needed to get up early and work hard for a whole day. My best friend, with who I grew up with, have married overseas. So, we seldom contact with each other, much less is it possible for us to gather together talking.
I closed my eyes and thought back to the dream, unable to fall asleep. Dream and reality? Ideal and reality? These words kept hovering in my mind. As I was thinking, I fell asleep again unknowingly. However, the same scene didn't enter my dream again....

Interesting.

ladyislingering 10-18-2015 07:22 PM

That's called lucid dreaming.

My dreamworld is expansive.

Trollheart 10-18-2015 07:46 PM

MY dreamworld is expensive...

Heroin is bad for you.

Trollheart 10-19-2015 10:16 AM

I don't need drugs. :) Anyway I prefer heroines...

I used to lucid dream quite a lot but never had any control when it would happen. Don't do it so much any more. Need to trip more I think.

FRED HALE SR. 10-19-2015 04:03 PM

I sleep through all my dreams. Can't remember a thing.

Has anyone ever had what they suspected was a shared dream? Or a prophetic dream/dream that came true??

Yes!

It's usually just remarkably average scenes and situations but sometimes I stop and think "this happened in a dream once".

DeadChannel 10-19-2015 11:23 PM

No, because those things don't exist.

Also, sorry, this is bugging me and I really have to:
*woke

It's called déjà-vu.
Nothing prophetic about that.

Trollheart 10-20-2015 04:03 AM

Man, I'm SURE I heard you use those exact words before! This is spooky!

Okay, now I'm convinced.
Prophetic dreams, greys visiting the earth, robot hamster jesus...
It's all true!

I have had each of those (shared and prophetic) happen to me only once in my lifetime... But both were chillingly accurate... It's unmistakable.

These guys are just jealous because their only "memorable" dreams are of the messy variety.

DeadChannel 10-20-2015 07:48 AM

Good argument. I don't believe things for which I have not been presented enough evidence to allay my doubts. That seems to me to have been a good policy thus far.

Studies show that the dark lord has a tendency to visit several people in their dreams simultaneously. Saves time.

I think you have it backwards. Clearly messy dreams are fantastic.

Meh... Only remarkable for those with less-than-stellar real-life action.

DeadChannel 10-20-2015 09:21 PM

But they're, like, real.
