I'm just really lucky I live near DC :D We get a lot of good bands coming through. Pretty much every concert I go to is in DC, they're all about 45 minutes away.

We got a blizzard this year before Christmas! There's already about a foot of snow outside and its supposed to keep snowing hard for four more hours, then lighter till tomorrow morning. I've only seen this much snow twice in my life, it's awesome! I suppose the obvious downside is that I might not be able to go to that concert. Oh, and I have to go to a wedding tonight. Blizzarding, heavy gusts of wind, and we're going in a caravan out to Haymarket (about 45 minutes away with no snow). I already broke my neck in a car accident in August, so I'm hoping that doesn't happen again. All the news and radio people are telling me it's a weather emergency, and not to go anywhere unless you absolutely have to, but mis padres are blatantly disregarding that. So, hopefully I don't die.

_Downloaded 2 albums in 10 hours.
_Made a Uni online test, and got 9/20... and I'm the first in that class.
_Feels like I'm going to download a third album.

Exciting day.

Summoning the energy to take the train and do some Christmas shopping. After that I'll probably just sit around and pack.

I woke up not obscenely hungover, surprising for the amount of booze I ingested last night. And I smoked a lot, too. Anyway, I haven't done a ****in' thing today besides walk my dogs and buy music equipment. And I don't care.

Hahaha, that's still more than me.
I made grilled cheese when I woke up.
That's it.

I guess I've been AWOL for a couple of months and I sort of dropped off the face of the earth... so this is more of a "your life" post than a "your day" one.

Since then I've had exams for second semester... I got a bit depressed during that period but I don't think I jeopardised anything - I ended up getting 2x A+ and 2x A- which is alright. I had a week off in between exams and starting work as a software developer at a forklift robotics firm. I've been there for a month now and it's pretty sweet - they don't mind if I turn up at 10 or 11, as long as I do my 40 hours a week (though I have been working overtime). That, and we get free coke/drinks/fruit. The only downside is the commute time resulting from Auckland being a crap city... I spend 2-3 hours a day on the bus, waiting for the bus or walking home. :banghead:

Just did the xmas shopping today and I'm looking forward to finally having a brief break.

My AWOL life update: I was at uni having an awesome time, though having a lot of work and mostly being distracted by the housemates, thus having no time for music as well as here :( Due to this i am open to any recommemdations you think i'll like!

Today I slept, woke up, slept some more, repeated this cycle about 5 times, made a meal using my flatmate's grill in time for a Nathan Barley marathon a few hours ago. So, yeah, I've done bugger all! I think getting through my last batch of uni assignments without going insane's given me license to do that though :D
