Some good news; I got offered a job. :thumb:

Some bad news; I have to go into surgery in a few weeks :( . Apparently I have two cervical ribs and one of them is likely the cause of the blood clots in my left arm.

Add to this the start of my summer semester at the university this week. Suffice to say, this month is going to be fan-fucking-tastic.

Hehe ok well yeah, thats cute. Hes a year old and people still baby talk around him? No wonder he picks up so much from you.

Is this normal? Do most parents do this?

Spent my evening contemplating whether or not I'm a pedo for still having a crush on Winnie Cooper in my 20s...

Astronomer 05-06-2010 04:25 AM

My day has been awful... on the phone all day to two different universities in Auckland and Melbourne, my mother (shudder), and my doctor. I pretty much might be going back to Australia very soon... I'm not sure how I feel about this. But if it has to be done it has to be done, right? "Health comes first" apparently.

Winnie Cooper, yeah I'd say pedo. Wasn't she supposed to be in junior high?

So you're not getting any better then? :(

Did the doctor give you any sort of timeframe for when you could be treated by the NZ health system? Surely you'd be high priority? I really don't envy your situation... and this is horrible timing for uni!

Wow, that really sucks. So you have to move back for health reasons and obviously thats why you're looking into universities there? Any luck with that?

Its starting to sound pretty serious. :|

I woke up this morning 50 minutes before my class started and realized I had a three page paper and research due in that class today.
I finished it all.
And got dressed.
And even put on earrings.
Today's going to be a good day. ;P
