I'm so excited I can't sleep. I've been trying since 11pm. But I'm failing miserably :(:(:D:D

Well not really.

Now if the bike was rusting in the garden....

I spent most of the day at work... went to the doctors, he did indeed increase my dosage, but I feel good about it. I need it. I think my disposition in general is going to be much better in a matter of a few weeks.... especially want to be in good condition when my other job starts up again and life gets all crazy again!

A buddy of mine and I got these lame inflatable innertubes and some beer and floated down the Truckee River this afternoon. It was nice until the clouds blocked out the sun, which dropped the temperature pretty quickly. By the last 1/4 mile of river before we got out the wind was blowing pretty fierce and it started raining on us during the walk back to my car. Overall it was nice but the weather could have been a better team player.

So I went to the beach today with my best friend.
On the way back, we decided to stop at Pinkberry (****ing amazing frozen yogurt) because she was in the mood to. I had Mango frozen yogurt with mango, cucumber, and some Japanese (I think) topping.
It was amazing.
Then we realized NYC was BUMPIN' still.
You all know it's the city that never sleeps.
We were in crappy cover ups from the beach but she just happened to have some clothes on her, so we TRANSFORMED into clubbing clothes, and explored the cityyy.
We smoked some hookah, had some pizza that cost one dollar a slice (including tax), and we drove home.
It's 1:40 am, and I feel amazing.
A little sunburnt, but fricken amazing.
It's the first time I'd been to the beach in like 4 years.
First time I was able to go around the city on my own without worrying about things I had to get done.
Lots of firsts. Lots of fun.
Best. Day. Ever.

Went to a house party. Got somewhat hammered. Left party with people I just met. Got very hammered. Went to a Japanese bar/restaurant and sang karaoke at a birthday party among more people I just met. The end.

Cool story bro! :afro:

I had the opportunity to get hammered at a house party tonight but elected not to. Too hot out...

Drove to meet up with a gang of people I've studied with, the goal being to celebrate our engagement, friendship and life in general. We got on a rather big boat where we drank wine, cold beer and had shrimps for snack while cruising the fjord. At a stop, I got to indulge in some recreational dipping and diving despite record high numbers of stinging jellyfish, but I refuse to let them win.

We were dropped off in this town where we proceeded to enjoy the night life. As we got slightly hammered ..

We too ended up at a Karaoke. It was pretty awful, "Keith's Karaoke", hosted by a fat english guy dressed in a tasteless suit with the colours of the union jack. When noone was singing, he sang love ballads himself - with feeling. I'm glad I don't live his life.

Fell asleep by the table eventually. I can't party hard anymore ;) had to skip the nachspiel and head straight to bed. Great night though!

That sounds hilarious!

The karaoke I went to was totally Japanese style we were all in our own room with the big leather couches and we controlled the song selection with this big remote control on which everything was written in Japanese except the numbers. And the videos we sang along to were hilarious random footage of Japanese pop stars mixed with even more random footage of wildlife, people riding bikes, food being cooked, etc.
