Wow, sounds like your lucky day. I've been witness to a few freeway accidents like that, but luckily never been a part of one.

I'm happy to be alive and uninjured but man is my car fucked.

Christ. Well that sucks but it's great to hear you are unscathed, for the most part mate.

Mystery Science Theatre? I haven't seen that for years. Lying around with a hangover sounds familiar. I went to a mates housewarming on Saturday night, was finally introduced to beer pong and was hungover for the entire day on Sunday. My headache only went away today, which has never happened before.

I'm not really hurt or anything, just pretty sore. Basically what happened was there was big strip of tractor trailer tire tread in the middle of the highway that I swerved to avoid, lost control of the car, flew into the next lane then skidded off the side of the highway, crashing into a bunch of trees. I'm just happy that I didn't hit any of the cars that were in the lane I skidded across. I think that would've been bad news for everyone involved.

Jesus Christ. It's a miracle that it was only your car that got totaled. Glad your ok.

Nobody was hurt and somehow, even though my car was spinning completely out of control across the highway, it didn't hit any other cars. Pretty amazing really because the highway I was on was fairly busy.

The same thing happened to me last year on I-80 in Northern California. It was raining pretty hard and I was in a sporty BMW, but I decided to slow it down to the recommended 55 mph, but even that wasn't enough. I was driving in the far left lane, hit a patch of water, hydroplaned, tried to counter-steer but hit the concrete divider, then spun across the other two lanes of traffic, miraculously not hitting anyone, and landed right into a ditch. Besides a stiff neck I was fine. I'm glad to hear you shared the luck I was blessed with that day and survived your accident unscathed to.

In work chillin'. Got an ice cold can of Dr. Pepper and I'm listening to lots of Pavement. Got the deluxe edition of CR, CR on my iPod right now. The version of Grounded on the second CD is amazing <3 so much love for that.

I need this week to come to a close, seeing some of my friends on Friday for hangs and pizza which should be good.

Scary, Janszoon! The tire in the road reminds me of the situation faced by that unfortunate musician who got killed after the big hay bale rolled down onto the road, he swerved to avoid it, and ended up hitting oncoming traffic. I'm glad you hit trees instead of a concrete bridge support or an oncoming car. I assume the trees gave a little.

I'm glad you survived!

Was just browsing through the free apps on my iPhone and came across the Twitter app. My mates have been telling me to get it for ages but I refused.

I just got it. I'm a ****.
