Just read a bit about it.
It's definitely great you got rid of that :).

Tuesday here today and it's my day off. It's raining heavily, like the sound of a million pigeons nose diving our roof. Have got some money to spend today, sadly it's allocated to groceries. And then later on Im off round to a mates place to test his 16 speaker surround sound man-garage, pool table included:)

i just sat through an "oral exam board" for a groundskeeper job at the local uni. it was basically a very structured interview. i think it went pretty well, i should hear back later this week. next step is the proper interview - i've got my fingers crossed! getting paid $16/hr to mow lawns and shovel snow in the vicinity of 20,000 college girls sounds pretty good to me!

I got to DJ at work today. Played Ziggy Stardust in its entirety and half of Physical Graffiti. :thumb:

Physical Graffiti is good. I don't listen to as much Zeppelin as I used to. I need to fix that...

RVCA 04-04-2011 07:29 PM

It is good, but I was just discussing it in the Zeppelin thread. I think that if half of the songs had been cut out and it had been a single album, it would have been far better. Not saying that it's bad, just saying it has a lot of unnecessary stuff on it.

Small girls are where it's at. My day is over and still I 'wait for them to interrupt, me drinking from my broken cup'

Oh, nice (not the over eating part, but the 'being able to use both sides of your jaw to chew' part, lol)

Damn it, I'm so happy I could cry. I've recently been at the hospital and it was looking increasingly likely that I would need lots of tests and treatment. Again.

Well, good news! I went today to hear the results of some critical tests that I had done a couple of weeks ago and I'm completely clear! I don't need any more tests or treatment.

I'm going to dance....*dance*

Wonderful Geddybass! I'm happy for you. http://www.blokksberg.com/images/smilies/blomma.gif

Well I had 4 classes today. Finally getting the hang of the Spanish language. Met with my academic advisor and she gave me the number to a lady who runs a local Juvenile Detention center. So I'm going to apply for an internship for next year. I am really hoping to get this, it would look great on a resume and maybe could lead to a job there down the road.

Good luck securing the internship you want, Dirty!

Ha ha. Hope you get the job!

I've not been to sleep. About four or four and a half hours ago, my great grandmother called, and said she'd fainted and wanted someone to come over and check her out. I called my grandmother, and she and I went over there.

It wasn't looking great, because my great grandmother kept seemingly nodding off while she was sitting up and stuff, and everytime I'd tell her to sit still, she'd realize that there was some pressing issue which required her to get up and walk around.

My grandmother drove her to the hospital. They're running tests, and so far everything's turned out fine.

The reason I'm so concerned? When I was younger, she passed out while working. She was probably 72 or so then. All of the initial tests came out clean, but then they noticed some anomalies, and she ended up having ovarian cancer.

Thankfully, they were able to treat it. And 13 years or so later, she's not relapsed...

But I'm terrified that she has relapsed. She was 72 then, and handled treatment fine considering. She's 85 now. It can't be as easy...God. I'm not going to let myself think about it. :(
