The welcoming committee died out :(. It was a good attempt by Conan to welcome noobs but oojay just dominated the whole thing by greeting noobs before anybody else could, haha

Can we at least agree not to bag the **** out of people in their intro threads. I've noticed some people are welcomed with open arms while others are shot down and it seems pretty arbitrary as to who gets trashed.

These here are the harsh parts of the internet. I remember that when I was under my other account years ago, I took a huge beating.

I think that was the whole point of the welcoming committee, really. The people who shoot down noobs are usually judgmental of their taste in music, it seems.

I don't find it necessary to shit on other people's tastes.

You guys want more people to talk about music here, but than the people get targeted and shit on for doing so. Makes no sense.

Some people's choice of words could be a bit better chosen if you want the community to grow.

There have been a lot of instances that people will just go into a thread to say they hate the band, what good does that do? Absolutely none. If you don't like the band, don't discuss it, if you do, than say why you do.

That strikes me as extremely boring. What's wrong with a little debate?
