Today I went to a memorial service for a recently deceased friend of mine. It was a beautiful but very difficult service. Then I spent the day getting smashed beyond belief, staying strong and consoling a friend of mine through general banter and reminiscing.

Then I got home and cried.

Today was both wonderful and the roughest day I've possibly ever had.

Drink and schmoke can go either way as a combination. For me its usually negative in the long run, haha.

We came in 9th place out of 30. But I'm not too bummed about it. Apparently the bands that placed in the top 4 were all pretty much terrible. So it seems to have been more about who was better at marketing themselves to get at the top spot as opposed to talent or originality. Thanks for asking!

Sorry to hear that Neil, I lost a friend when I was young and I didn't really know what was going on and that was still difficult. Once again my condolences. :(

Better that than waking up with jeans soaked in urine. Just about the worst way to start a day I've ever had.

Looks like my days running a theater and being a projectionist are coming to an end. A very good friend of mine just offered me a job as a property inspector. The job is going to be less creative and rewarding obviously but I'll be making my own hours, working from my car, and making 2 1/2 times more than I'm making now. I'd mop poop for that much of a pay increase.

I'm excited.
