Maybe that's their decision and you're not in any position to pass judgement on them.

I wasn't being literal. I know most of the tobacco doesn't come from here. A lot does though. There are tobacco fields everywhere here just plain everywhere.

What about the person who is subject to the smoke that they're leaking all over the place?
Is that their decision?

cardboard adolescent 06-22-2006 01:45 PM

Yeah, but even in regions where tobacco is grown in the US people don't smoke as much as they do in Europe. I didn't mean to come off hostile, but anti-smokers' self-righteous bullshit gets on my nerves sometimes.

And screw that second hand smoke bullshit. Second hand smoke is not proven to cause serious problems, and even if it did, it would have to be in extremely high dosages where you're breathing it in for the better part of most days.

I have better things to do than to continue arguing this.

I don't understand why anyone would subject themselves that harms themselves and is costly.

Even if second isn't that damaging it's still annoying.

F*cking hell when did the straight edgers take over this forum?

That's like saying that smoking hasn't been proven to cause any serious problems.
The only difference between the smoke that the smoker inhales, and the secondhand smoke, is that secondhand smoke is un-filtered.

Today I was recovering from the wedding reception I was at last night, it got quite wild after the guests left and it was just me and my family.

im very cautious of smoking around others. i never smoke anywhere NEAR a nonsmoker unless theyre prepared to be there, & without my asking. i wont do it. i only ever smoke in public if im in a designated smoking area. thankyou very much for your judgement on my smoking habits, but next time, try knowing what you're talking about. get off yer feckin high horse.
