Says who? Perhaps they feel that the new Katy Perry single intrudes on their artiness, chuck the radio out the window, and just turn on some porn instead for inspiration. Yeah, "like a painter's porn". I like that. Even makes some sort of sense.

I've always pictured this happening to me.

My band did our first bar gig last night, we usually only play parties. It went pretty well, apart from the fact that we didn't have any microphones so we had to scream everything that we were singing. Lost my voice for a few good hours after the show and got incredibly smashed. I was going to go to a performance of Rocky Horror Picture Show with my bandmembers, but I got way too drunk and passed out before we left. Oh well, next Friday.

This morning me and the guitarist made an interesting instrument that was about fifty feet long made from random tubing, copper pipes, and several pieces of dried bamboo with a bell end at the end to amplify it. It makes some pretty great noises if you play it right.

I'd say that this has been a productive weekend.

I've spent my weekend rewatching Buffy for the millionth time. Pretty productive weekend if you ask me.
