So maybe it's more that she just doesn't have the capacity to give you adequate support? Does she ever talk about anything that's bothering her/anything she's thinking about or is the consolation thing a one-way street?

She's very closed off emotionally. It's mostly a one way street. I take most of the attention on the everyday mental health agenda. I see how that is bad.

:( I find those types of people difficult to deal with. I don't understand them any more than they understand me. I can see why it's difficult for her to see you like this.

Ahhh, a day off finally. Gonna open a new bank account, get my hair cut, then the daughter and me are going shopping for presents for her Grandfather. I hate shopping with anyone but my daughter, she makes it fun.
