I locked my keys in my truck about a year ago and had to call a locksmith since I was in a rush and had nothing to pick the lock myself. Locksmith shows up with a young apprentice, sees my truck (a '95 Silverado at the time), looks at him and goes "Oh perfect! These are quite easy to get into, I'll let you do this one". Locksmith shows his apprentice a few ways to do it, they pack up their stuff, I get my keys back, we go our separate ways.

Last week I was driving that truck while my current one was in the shop, I get out and push the seat forward to put some **** behind it and notice that there's a huge deluxe vehicle lockpicking set behind the seat with at least a dozen different picking tools. The apprentice must have somehow accidentally knocked his lockpicking set behind the seat without realizing it, and must have been too nervous to remember it while they were leaving.

Anyhow, I've been the proud owner of a wicked vehicle lockpicking kit for close to a year and I've only known this for a week.
Time to start freelance lockpicking for cash on the side.

Yeah the locksmith ultimately used that tool to get into the Silverado, they work great.

I use a bent coat hanger whenever i leave my keys inside my car.

On a good day i'll pop it open in 10 to 20 minutes
But in a bad day it can take me up to 2 hours with lots of cursing.

Waiting for apartment managers to visit for the annual inspection.

Can they just hurry the hell up and get it over with? This is misery.

Why is WA the only state that does that? I had those for a couple years when I lived in Tacoma.

I'm pretty sure some random dude's unattended car is going to be worth more than twice the cost of a lock picking set.

If I saw a Puerto Rican stealing a car I wouldn't want to have any part of that either.
