I'm assuming this is the other company's entire plan. To just wait you guys out until you go under.

Yesterday we finalized the sale of our wireless division. 6 of the last 9 employees were laid off and rehired by the new owners all in the span of 20 minutes (Lin included). They'll stay in the same building until the lease is up.

For every office we kept in the building we'd have to pay a portion of rent so that's why we're bailing to work from home.

And ya, mega-corp is stalling and delaying every chance they get hoping we dry up.

Mega corp grossed about $6.5 billion last year with about $1.4 billion in profits. We're asking for $23 million to settle.

New owners? So your business is already pretty much belly up?

It's a bit complicated. I can't name names.

I work for AA. We design and manufacture consumer electronics for name brands, including mega-corp.

Years back AA developed a wireless technology and decided to brand it under company BB. AA and BB have co-existed ever since. All of us employees, including the owner basically have been working as AB for the past 10 years.

The owner has been forced to sell off BB and its technology in order to keep AA alive. (The lawsuit is between AA and mega-corp)

So the company is basically still in-house, just one half of the operation is dead/dying? I guess that's better than nothing.

No. AB got divorced. BB has been sold off to another lover. AA is still 100% alive and healthy from a corporate standpoint.

Confused. **** business. Too complicated. Will listen to Manowar instead.

I thought you were in AA, which was about to die, while BB was taking over.

Today, right now, I'm wondering if just ate an ant. Damn ants.

BB was a division of AA, the parent company. Until the **** hit the fan we were like a married couple, sharing everything.

AA sold off BB, liquidating AA of a ****load of inventory, overhead, and assets.

BB is now on their own as a completely unique corporate identity. My wife now works for BB.

AA is 100% solvent from a business standpoint.

AA is 3 people working from home with no insurance, no benefits, and uber trimmed salaries - just trying to keep our heads above water.
