Well shit, happy belated birthday! 21 is a big one for sure. I was in the Army stationed in Germany when I turned 21, and had been drinking legally there for a while, so it wasn't that big of a deal. Our platoon had a G.I. party (we had to clean our barracks, top to bottom) on that day, and I actually didn't even get a chance to get drunk until the next day or so.

Thanks mate :). It went pretty well. Started it off on Sunday night up until 1 or so, then at around noon I went to lunch and a brewery with my parents to drink my 'first beers'. At both the restaurant and the brewery they had menus that showed the abv of the drinks so I obviously went for the highest ones. Later that night went to a bar with the crew and got a bunch of free drinks because the bartender said I didn't have to pay at all. Then we got a bunch of wine, beer, and tequila. It all gets a little fuzzy after that point but I woke up drunk enough to not have a hangover, which was nice.

That's a proper way to do it right there.
