Sorry to hear that mate.

One of my best friends Dad was an alcoholic. In fact he was more than that ,he was like an uncle to me. He always liked a drink but he slowly got worse & worse. Towards the end his wife left him & moved to the UK & he spant the last 2 years of his life alone. I remember me & a friend went around to see him on new years eve one year and he was so happy to have company he broke down & started crying.
Sadly he didn`t make it to the end of that year & died a week before Xmas just after his 42nd birthday.
I prey that things never get that bad for your sister.

I hope she recovers soon Right-Track. How did the detox set off a liver problem? That's a really bad situation, trying to get better from something and it setting off a different horror.

I know how you feel, my father in law is an alchoholic and everytime I see him he gets a little worse. He may have three years left in him, at a family function he will slug back 3/4's of a bottle of rye in just over an hour. It's horrifying to watch someone spontainiously combust like that.

Best wishes for your sister
