Music Banter - Your Day

What I don't like about my job is sometimes I have to run the cash register but I'm not given the authority to do jack ****

If a customer complains about a sale not going through
Call the manager
If I ring something then customer changes mind
Call a manager
Need to open the drawer for any reason
Call a manager
Need to do a return
Call a Manager

So basically why the **** have me run the register

I worked at Walmart and had the same issue, it's dumb. especially when there's only one manager working and two people need something at once.

I put in the minimum amount of effort while people like you pick up my slack. I just do time consuming busy work to make it look like I'm working as hard as you but I'm definitely not.

I hate working with people like you. You're pretty naive if you think what you do goes unnoticed by the people who actually care. It's not about sticking it to the company, it's about holding yourself to a certain standard.
