Thanks for the birthday wishes everybody! I signed up for MB a few days before my 18th bday so this also marks my 10-year anniversary here.

Good luck! I abhor standardized testing. I took it once and got a 30. Practiced, took it again, and got a 34. The average that year was like a 21.

Edit: I first said the average was 17, b/c that's what teachers always plastered into our heds. Actual test results say 2006 average was a 21. My bad. #DueDilligence

What's cooler: a babysitter you play Snakes and Ladders with or a babysitter you play hockey with?

You're only taking it now? I thought it was a pre-college thing.

Although TH is certainly the pinnacle of modern masculinity I have to jump in to say there's nothing weird about male care providers and that attitude plagues the industry and is just whack af

I would think that it's a lot easier to see a dude peeing than a girl

In Louisiana. Will be moved into new place later tonight. I'm torn between wanting to distract myself constantly (due to that whole week of death and misery which is now suddenly hitting me again) and lie in a dark room alone for two weeks. Can't wait to finally set up my computer and play Stardew Valley for 17 hours straight while in a diassociative fugue state!

You can always hang out here and laugh at us losers.

Edit: or you could check my monotonous monologue in the Voice thread.

2D Final Fantasy games are actually the best for that. Grinding for days on end is surprisingly hypnotic since you can set your battle menus to remember your choices so you don't even have to stop to think. I suggest FF5, as its job system gives you countless mini-goals to level up to between actual levels, so there's a constant sense of progression, and then days will pass with you going up and down in the same straight line, over and over and over and over again, until you're twenty levels over where you actually need to be so that even bosses get oneshotted.

And there's a Gameboy Advance version so that you don't even have to stop to go take a ****!
