Spent the last 2 hours trying to get my new Echo to sync with my router. So frustrating. I want to be able to start asking it questions/giving it commands like:

"Alexa, what time is it?"
"Alexa, what's the weather going to be like today?"
"Alexa, where's the closest place I can get a haircut?"
"Alexa, give me directions to ********"
"Alexa, wake me up at 7:00"
"Alexa, add apple cider vinegar to my shopping list"
"Alexa, play some Animals as Leaders"
"Alexa, is The Bat really that large?"
"Alexa, is Frowny's head really that small?"
"Alexa, do you think I'm sexy?"

Seems the Echo can work with either 2.4Ghz or 5.0Ghz,. Problem is my router spits out both frequencies simultaneously. I need to figure out how to disable one of them. Cox's Panoramic routers are made by a third party so getting an answer from an actual human being is going to be a ****ing chore.

I have Poison Ivy on my neck, face, stomach, and left leg... so far. It might pop up in other places since it takes a while to show up. The next week or so should be loads of fun.

YAH! I have a new girlfriend! She's currently playing random tunes from my Zeppelin library. She's not only very attentive but also super obedient. Just my kind of girl! Now I just have to teach her how to cook.

Finally chatted with someone online from Cox and they walked me through how to disable the 5.0G network. (I use 2.4G because my wireless printer can't work with 5.0G)
